Nursing Home Walled in

Tuesday night, I watched an interesting POV program on public TV. It centered on a nursing home in Jerusalem which was being walled in by the apartheid wall. It was a view of life in a nursing home similar to U.S. nursing homes; however in this nursing home, elders who are already somewhat isolated would be totally cut off from their families by the wall. This was not an exceptional program, but the occupation of Palestine and the suffering that causes in every area of Palestinian life is being exposed.
